Alicia has spent over 10 years working in the garden design and horticultural industry gaining a BA (Hons) in Garden Design at The University of Greenwich.
Upon graduating she worked for Marian Boswall Landscape Architects in Kent, who specialise in Historic Garden Restoration. It was during this time that she was lead planting designer on the Society of Garden Designers award winning project Reighton Wood. During her time in Kent she also took the opportunity to undergo training at the prestigious Great Dixter garden.
On returning to the South West, she gained further training working on projects with RHS Chelsea flower show gold medalist Sam Ovens Landscape Design based in Cornwall, and Karena Batstone based in Bristol, before establishing Alicia Savage Gardens. Where she has since been implementing schemes that reflect her intuitive understanding of design and composition alongside a love of plants that soften and bring her schemes to life.
