This traditional courtyard has just been built and starting to fill out with planting. The client wanted to maximise the planting in the garden, enclosing the seating area with billowing borders, full of cottage style planting.

The existing flagstones were lifted from under the existing pergola and have been set in the middle of the garden where they can be more fully appreciated.

A stone through, sits adjacent to an old drystone wall and trickles water out of a copper pipe. The sound masking occasionally noisy neighbours and the roads that hum around the city. Photos of the garden to come soon.
